Update: The Denver coroner’s office has identified the woman fatally stabbed at 1955 Arapahoe Street early Saturday morning as Annette Taylor, 49.
And the Denver cops have also ID’d the man busted for the crime: Ronald Muniz, 63.

Original item, 7:19 a.m. June 27: The 1900 block of Arapahoe Street downtown was the scene of a bloody homicide during the wee hours of Saturday morning. According to the Denver Police Department, a woman was fatally stabbed — and a man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of first-degree murder.

At this point, the DPD hasn’t released the name of either the victim or the man arrested following the 2:10 a.m. incident, and other details are scarce. We’ll update when we get more information.
