Earlier today, we told you about the manhunt for Maurice Kendrick, a Colorado Springs parolee who allegedly assaulted women who rejected his advances and opened fire at a house that had hosted a get-together of folks who watched the Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao fight.
Now comes word of another incident thought to be associated with Mayweather-Pacquiao viewing party.
In this case, one person is dead and another injured after a driver allegedly ran them down.
The Denver Police Department believe the driver’s actions were intentional, not accidental. The case is being investigated as a homicide.

First official word of the incident came via this DPD tweet during the early hours of Sunday, May 3:
HEADS UP: Auto vs Ped Hit & Run accident S Perry and W Kentucky. Male Vic Serious injuries. Run Veh a possible dark colored Pickup truck.

Hours later, came this followup:
UPDATE: The auto pedestrian incident from last night (Perry & Kentucky) is now being investigated as a homicide (intentional act) no further
— Denver Police Dept. (@DenverPolice) May 3, 2015The “no further” that ends this tweet remains in effect: The police haven’t issued any additional information.
However, cops tell 9News the incident involved people had gathered to watch Mayweather and Pacquiao duke it out in the most heavily hyped pay-per-view boxing event in years.
Fox31 notes the location of the party as Stone: The Club, located at 4842 Morrison Road. The venue has been around for many years: It was once known as The Tropics, and more recently as the Silverado Club.

From the club, the group migrated to an area near the intersection of South Perry and West Kentucky, approximately half a mile away.
According to 7News, police arrived at the second scene around 2 a.m.
At first, says a neighbor who spoke to all three stations, the driver seemed to be the victim, not the suspect: A large crowd is said to have gathered, with some of its members reportedly throwing things at the vehicle.
But then, the driver allegedly ran over a man, leaving his body in the middle of Kentucky.
After that, a second person was hit. That individual wasn’t as seriously injured.
The driver then fled the scene.
Earlier this morning, the Denver coroner’s office identified the person killed in the hit-and-run as Armando Rodriguez-Uribe, 34. The announcement reads in part: “An autopsy was completed and the cause of death was determined to be from blunt force injuries. The manner of death is homicide.”
In the meantime, police are on the lookout for a dark, possibly black four-door truck — a Dodge Ram or Ford F-150 are mentioned as possibilities.
