A complete list of the notable bands represented in this lineup would be exhaustive. But when you have Rick Kulwicki and Matt Bischoff of The Fluid present, that’s not a bad place to start. Add in John Rumley of Urban Leash, Sam Schiel of Francis Theory, Arnie Beckman of the Frantix and Joe Henry of the Rok Tots, and you have an unstoppable, combustible rock-and-roll lineup. Granted, the Buckingham Squares (due at the Larimer Lounge on Saturday, April 10) is essentially a cover band picking its songs almost entirely from the garage rock found on the Nuggets and Pebbles compilations. Rather than being content with merely playing the songs well, however, the Squares make those songs live and breathe again with the raw vitality they had before being committed to tape.
