Egads. Just when you thought it was safe to peaceably ignore the new-and-nowhere-near-improved version of American Idol like the rest of the country, along comes another homegrown contestant to follow. Meet Emma Henry, a fifteen-year-old hopeful from Littleton, sophomore at Chatfield High School. After driving some sixteen hours to audition in Milwaukee, Henry turned in a serviceable performance that was at least impressive enough to woo Randy Jackson and the other new pushoversjudges to be passed on through to Hollywood. We’ll keep an eye out and let you know how she fares. In meantime, click through to see her in action at Moe’s and hear her version of “Hallelujah.”
