Ten months after the release of his debut EP, Victory in Defeat, comes the premiere of Caleb Slade‘s first video for the song “Always On My Mind.” Like Slade’s music, the video, directed by the Duckduck Collective, has an inherent, romanticized, cinematic quality to it that’s both poignant and elegant. Even though the clip ends with the inference that Slade and his companion come together in an embrace, there’s a palpable tension that is conveyed throughout that matches the paradoxical lines, “You’re always on my mind even in the good times.”
