Tonight, the Justice League of Street Food is throwing its second party, mitigating lines with more space at the lot on 29th and Huron streets and more vendors, and extending its hours: the party starts at 5 p.m. and ends at 10 p.m.
Food will come from the Deluxe Little Orange Rocket, the Inventing Room, Sully’s Slice Truck, Cupcake Truck, Biker Jim’s, Steuben’s, the Biscuit Bus, Pinche Tacos, Steamin’ Demon and the Gastro Cart. Alcohol will come from Great Divide Brewing Co and the Infinite Monkey Theorem. And entertainment will be provided by DJ Bobby C.
And because we love you, we offered food from three vendors plus three beers to the person who could pitch, in five words or less, the best idea for a food truck.
Some of your ideas made us salivate. Others made us confused. Many of you cried for curry, and many more thought Denver could stand a little more junk food on wheels. And several of you enterprising people saw a place in the mobile food scene for pot and beer.
