It’s hard to argue with most of the changes made during the six-week-long renovation of theWazee Supper Club. For the first time in forty years, for example, the restaurant has air-conditioning — and it couldn’t have been introduced at a better time. And while the dumbwaiter is no longer needed to send food to the mezzanine — there’s a brand-spanking-new kitchen on the other side of the space — it’s still in place, with a new tray to steady drink orders on their way up. We can live with the new bathrooms, too.
