You know how to cook with wine, but how about cooking with craft beer? Stir Cooking School and the nearby Factotum Brewhouse have teamed up to teach you how to cook with Colorado craft beer at 6:30 p.m. During the class, you’ll learn how to incorporate beer into recipes you can make at home, while also learning the background of the craft-beer styles.
The evening’s menu will feature mussels steamed in beer, creme fraiche and herbs with grilled bread, beer-braised spring-chicken stew, mixed green salad with beets, ricotta salata with an orange-ale vinaigrette, creamy risotto with lager, and dark chocolate-stout cupcakes with a milk chocolate buttercream frosting.
The class is at Stir, 3215 Zuni Street, and tuition is $80. Register and learn more at stirtolearn.com.
