Snooze in Congress Park undergoing renovations; will reopen this weekend

If you’ve noticed that there haven’t been the usual throngs of people milling around outside the second Snooze location at Seventh Avenue and Colorado Boulevard, waiting for a table, it’s not because the restaurant has lost any of its morning (or afternoon) cachet.

Rather, the spot has been closed for renovations — renovations that should be finished by Saturday, July 20, when those throngs of people will likely return to their favorite busy corner. And their favorite pancakes, a breakfast treat that has won Best of Denver awards from Westword for several years in a row.
