What are the iconic tastes and culinary institutions of this city? For our 2014 Denver Bucket List, which we’ve been filling this week on Cafe Society, we looked to some time-honored traditions: a martini at the cruise room, a burger at Bud’s, a turkey leg at the Taste of Colorado, a plate of Rocky Mountain oysters at the Fort. And readers came up with still more meaty options: a slopper at Gray’s Coors Tavern in Pueblo, chocolate-covered bacon at Coors Field, a sugar steak at Bastien’s.
