Rummage through your closet and dust the mothballs off that ugly Christmas sweater you’ve been waiting to wear all year. The season is finally here, and Oskar Blues is holding its Ugly Fuh’ CAN Sweater Party at 6 p.m. today at the Tasty Weasel Tap Room. Jensen Cummings, Denver’s first certified Chef Cicerone, will be on hand to offer beer and food pairings, and there will be a screening of Warren Miller’s new film No Turning Back. There will also be an ugly sweater contest, a ski raffle, prizes and a silent auction. Tickets for the party are $15 in advance; $20 at the door, and include one beer, a plate of food and all the other festivities. All proceeds from the event will support the CAN’d Aid Foundation.
