The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment issued a recall today on Natural Grocers brand Caribbean Nut & Fruit Mix due to potential salmonella contamination of the macadamia nuts in the mix. No illnesses have been reported so far, according to the agency’s web page.

The affected product was packed in ten-ounce packages with UPC code 000080444558 and a packed-on date of 15-148. The packages were distributed to Natural Grocers stores in Colorado as well as in 16 other states where the company (Vitamin Cottage Natural Food Markets Inc.) has locations.
