As it turns out, the Shops at Northfield Stapleton were not the perfect spot for Guy Harvey, the famous artist and conservationist. Earlier this month, Guy Harvey’s Perfect Spot, a bar/restaurant/retail store decked out in fishing decor, closed less than a year after it opened in the outdoor mall.
But at least it lasted longer than another nautical-themed restaurant in the development, Wyland’s Ocean Blue, which took a dive after just seven months.
Although Guy Harvey already owned a string of successful Guy Harvey Island Grill restaurants in the South, this was the first Perfect Spot — and as far as we can tell, it may well be the last.
