It’s a glorious, sunny day outside and because we know you’re already looking for an excuse to ditch your office or cubicle for at least a few minutes and stroll through magical rays of sunshine, here’s a little more incentive: free food.
Two Front Range establishments are dishing out freebies today and tomorrow, and here’s how you can take advantage of the loot:
Free item number one comes from Starbucks, which is celebrating its fortieth (!) anniversary with a promotion called Tribute Days. The mega-chain is pouring a free Starbucks Petite (read: bite-sized snack made of sugar) to each patron who breezes through the door of any location and buys a drink between 2 and 5 p.m. And if you miss your window today, you can go between those same hours tomorrow, or Saturday, too.
Your second opportunity is in the Boulder area, where Glacier Ice Cream is offering a small cup of ice cream or gelato to anyone who reviews it on Yelp between now and tomorrow. Which sounds like both a lot of work — and also bribery. But hey! Free ice cream! Delicious!
