For the past seventeen years, Westword has paid tribute to Denver’s celebrated dining scene with its annual Dish soiree, a culinary celebration of the city’s best bites, sips and sounds. This year’s Dish, slated for Friday, September 9, at Ninth Avenue Historic Park, promises to be bigger and better than ever.
The new outside venue is just one reason why – and there will be at least thirty more. That’s because for the first time, Cafe Society has invited some of our favorite restaurants and food trucks to be part of Dish, serving up samples to party-goers.
And one of those, Biker Jim’s Gourmet Dogs, inspired the ticket giveaway we announced last Thursday.
To win two tickets to Dish, by 5 p.m. today a player needed to guess how many elk-jalapeno-cheddar dogs, total, Biker Jim serves at all of his places in a week – without going over.

Your support strengthens our coverage.
We’re aiming to raise $50,000 by December 31, so we can continue covering what matters most to this community. If Westword matters to you, please take action and contribute today, so when news happens, our reporters can be there.
The answer, according to Jim Pittenger, owner of the Biker Jim’s carts and brick-and-mortar restaurant, is 893.
And the guess that came closest was the very first one posted: BSquared came in with a cool 875.
BSquared, we’ll get your tickets to you. Everyone else, thanks for playing – and see you at Dish! You can find all the ticket info here.
