He’s been called a “hero of sustainability,” his name appears on Time Magazine’s 2010 list of the 100 Most Influential People in the World, and his best-selling books, including The Omnivore’s Dilemma: A Natural History of Four Meals, have made him one of the high priests of practicing — and preaching — healthy living, while still advocating eating for pleasure.
Pollan is currently journeying around the country as part of a traveling lecture series. Tomorrow night, he’ll take center stage at the Paramount Theatre at 7:30 p.m., and we’re giving away one pair of tickets to see the journalist, author and professor, who also just re-released Food Rules: An Eater’s Manual, originally published in 2009.
If you’d like to go, here’s what you need to do: Tell us, in fifty words or less, what question you’d pose to Pollan if you had the opportunity to ask.
We’ll sort through your submissions, which you should leave in the comments section below, along with a valid e-mail address, and we’ll announce the winner first thing tomorrow morning. The winner can pick up his or her tickets at the Paramount box office, 1621 Glenarm Place, before the lecture begins.
