Humboldt and Bru Handbuilt Ales and Eats are hosting wine and beer dinners, respectively, so you can enjoy great food paired with whichever beverage you prefer. Bru Handbuilt Ales and Eats and executive chef/brewmaster Ian Clark continue their monthly beer dinner series with a “From the Ground Up”-inspired vegetarian menu. Dishes will include a black trumpet mushroom noodle bowl, charred asparagus and lemon rangoons; they’ll be paired with Bru’s handcrafted ales. Dinner starts at 7 p.m. and costs $40; call 720-638-5193.
Humboldt will be hosting Huia Vineyards for its Chef’s Table Series tonight. Here’s the lineup for the four-course meal:
First course Pinot Gris Smoked salmon chowder, spring root vegetables, chive and radishSecond course Sauvignon Blanc Roasted tomato and lentil salad, arugula, chèvre, citrus vinaigrette
Third course Gewurztrammer, Peppered albacore carpaccio, capers, lemon, basil
Fourth course Pinot Noir, Niman Ranch pork tenderloin, celeriac puree, shallot butter, fiddlehead ferns
