We’ve got dozens of cupcake shops in the Mile High City, and the past few months have seen an onslaught of frozen yogurt shops, too. But there have been few — if any — places that offer both. Until now.
32nd Treat, “part self-serve yogurt bar, part gourmet cupcake and pastry parlor,” according to its website, will soon open on West 32nd Avenue, right across Zuni Street from LoHi SteakBar.
The sweets spot is going into a space once inhabited by a now-defunct rug store. Construction was slated to be done last month, but when we passed by the future 32nd Treat over the weekend, it was evident that some fixes are still in process.
Once it does open, 32nd Treat will offer fifty rotating, fresh yogurt flavors, thirty toppings and gourmet cupcakes, as well as cookies, chocolates and other pastries.
