The rest of the good news is that the show will go on, safe and unaffected by the wildfires blazing miles down the road, according to the management. The gates officially open at 10 a.m. tomorrow morning for Memories That Last, a welcoming kickoff featuring music and dance and entertainers, old and new. The Ren Fest continues every weekend from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays with changing themes — from next week’s popular Royal Ale and Art Festival to the season-topping Fare Thee Well blowout on August 3 and 4, featuring a Mardi Gras-style Carnivale, beads and all. Admission is $9 for children and $19.95 for adults; little ones under age five get in free. Visit the Ren Fest online for more information.
