Anybody can make a snowman, but the real badasses are making snow sculptures in Breck this week as part of the Budweiser International Snow Sculpture Championships.

We’re talking 12 teams from 6 countries spending a week whittling away at 12-foot blocks of snow with more tools than a Home Depot.

And if you get there on Friday night, you can see the snow DaVinci’s in all their numb-fingered glory busting out their final efforts all night long before the competition ends on Saturday morning.

Catch a glimpse of last year’s competition after the jump. (Be warned: the music in the video sucks).
