Trade-talk subject Kyle Orton‘s getting a lot of love. Problem is, most of it’s coming from a city where he’s not currently playing — Miami. In a post yesterday, we wrote that Dolphins loyalists might force the revival of a supposedly dead deal, and they’re clearly trying — much to the chagrin of a Denver toddler seen in a bizarre video below.
At Dolphins camp yesterday, attendees made it plain that they’d prefer KO to current Fish starting QB Chad Henne, as described in this tweet.

Such demonstrations of frustration have gotten NFL observers like Sportrageous’ Pierce Hacking to speculate about the reasons the Orton negotiations with the Dolphins fell through in the first place and if they’re truly DOA. The result, Pro Football Talk’s Greg Rosenthal writes, likely pleases Orton’s agent — although he adds that John Elway “may be leaning towards keeping Orton at this point,” in part because KO has “clearly separated himself” from Tim Tebow in training camp, according to Sports Illustrated‘s Jim Trotter.

That would be good news for a local toddler, whose marginally sadistic dad tells her Orton’s headed to Miami in a way that makes the adorable cherub puddle up. Are there more Broncos fans out there like her?
