Another murder that took place in late July….
Early on July 25, Aurora Police Department representatives responded to a call at Street Soldiers Motorcycle Club on the 9500 block of East Colfax, an area captured in the graphic above (if you have problems seeing the image, click “View Larger Map”). They found two women and two men suffering from gunshot wounds — and while three of this quartet survived, the fourth, a woman, died from her injuries. Read the official APD release below.

At approximately 3:00 this morning an on-duty Aurora Police Officer in the area of the 9500 block of East Colfax Avenue heard what he believed to be multiple gunshots nearby.
The officer drove into the area of East Colfax and Dallas Street and saw a large crowd outside the Street Soldiers Motorcycle Club on East Colfax Avenue. Numerous officers responded to the area.
Officers located two adult females and two adult males suffering from gunshot wounds. Three of the victims are being treated at local hospitals for non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
The fourth victim, an adult female, was pronounced dead at the hospital a short time after arriving. Her identity will not be released pending notification of relatives.
Major Crimes/Homicide detectives responded and are in the early stages of the investigation. A motive has not been established.
