The rumors have finally been confirmed: this August, you get to dance yourself clean on the Rocks.
LCD Soundsystem will return for two consecutive nights at Red Rocks Amphitheatre this summer. James Murphy’s reunited band will perform August 2-3 in Denver, as part of a slew of summer dates including festivals in North America and Europe. The Red Rocks shows also feature British post-punk band Savages, led by astounding vocalist Jehnny Beth, as well as Museum of Love, the band formed by Soundsystem drummer Pat Mahoney.
Tickets go on sale via axs.com at 10 a.m. this Friday, April 1. No joke.
After a “final” show at Madison Square Garden in 2011, LCD Soundsystem is back together, signed to Columbia and recording a new album.
