Our post about a video showing Denver Broncos quarterback Brock Osweiler pushing a woman and then being shoved by a man during an incident in Scottsdale, Arizona, prompted plenty of commentary.
There wasn’t much criticism of Osweiler being out at 2 a.m. — a time when “nothing good happens” for an athlete away from home, according to ex-NFL coach Herm Edwards — or the role he played in the situation.
Rather, most readers praised him for showing restraint despite plenty of provocation.

Man or woman, don’t put your hands on someone and not expect a reaction. Osweiler had every right to push that tiny lady off him. But as someone who trains and takes hits every day, he showed control and finesse and then got rammed into a car by some idiot that decided he was going to try and start shit when things were diffusing. Good on Osweiler for not kicking the shit out of that little turd in self-defense.
