Colorado has its own homegrown wrestling entertainment scene thanks to Primos Hardcore & Wrestling’s commitment to training some of the ring’s brightest stars. At tonight’s Xtreme Xmas smackdown, Primos brings a mix of fierce longtime competitors and new brutes center stage for a wild night of celebration and fan appreciation.
The blood-pumping mayhem will see Tony “The Lost Soul” Ortega go up against Primos founder Joey “Terrofyn” McDougal in the final round of a best-of-five series. But there will also be five other undercard matches during the night. “We’ve revamped our roster and have a whole new crew of guys coming out of the Butchershop,” says McDougal, referring to his training facility. But the big event is a chaotic three-way showdown between champion Royce Isaacs, longtime Primos wrestler Chris Wrath and number-one contender Lonnie Valdez — and only one man will reign.
Xtreme Xmas throws down tonight at 7 p.m. at the Watering Bowl, 5411 Leetsdale Drive. To thank fans for their year-round support, tickets are just $10 and good for up to two admissions. Guests will also have a chance to participate in raffles and giveaways throughout the night. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit the Primos Facebook page.
