J.R. Smith and Kenyon Martin have reportedly kissed and made up after an April Fools’ Day gag fell flat.
As we noted yesterday, Smith’s driver, Laquan Johnson, filled Martin’s Range Rover with buttered popcorn, prompting a profanity-laced outburst from K-Mart and a tweet from Smith featuring the letters “LMAO.”
Nonetheless, Martin’s receiving sympathy, sort of, by way of a tongue-in-cheek ESPN blog headlined “Kenyon Martin, I Agree With You About Your Car.” Some highlights:
Writer Bomani Jones writes that anyone who felt Martin behaved childishly when he lost his shit over his car’s stained interior must have a bus pass, “because everyone that’s owned a car knows that it’s sacred territory.”
