The Denver Post reported today that Max Karson — the CU student who was arrested for saying, in response to the Virginia Tech massacre, that he under stood why someone would want to kill his fellow students — has been given a year to behave. A Boulder County Judge ruled that if Karson keeps his nose clean for twelve months, charges against him will be dropped.
Westword‘s own Michael Roberts profiled Karson here after Karson got in trouble with CU over a newletter he printed called The Yeti.
