If you’re not completely liquored-out after yesterday’s St. Paddy’s Day festivities, it’s shaping up to be a beautiful weekend for a beer tasting. And while Upslope‘s already got a pleasant spot for brew touring — the taproom frequently puts out lawn games to entertain imbibers — it’s offering more incentive to would-be tasters this weekend: food.
The north Boulder-based brewers host food vendors on a semi-regular basis, but this weekend, they’re offering ample opportunities to eat while you drink.
Last night, the taproom put out an Irish-themed feast from Salvaggio’s Deli to go with a tapped festive stout. Tonight, the big pink Comida truck will be on hand from 5 to 7 p.m., doling out tacos, tostadas and gorditas to pair with Upslope’s ales And tomorrow, Georgia Boys BBQ, which just started amping up its street-side appearances in the Peoples’ Republic, will haul out its smoker and serve up sandwiches, baked beans and mashed potatoes and gravy from 3 to 6 p.m.
Sounds like a perfect excuse for a bike ride and a picnic. For more information, dial 303-449-2911.
