I love a hearty Mid East feast, and I wanted to love the restaurant where the above sampler platter was snapped, but aside from the tabbouleh and beef shawarma, both of which were fine — not stellar, but fine — nothing here made me want to come rushing back, least of all, the anemically seasoned hummus completely bereft of the lemon jolt that gives it the requisite sharp tang.
