A few weeks ago, we reported that the trucks making 15th and California streets a regular stop were working to establish a permanent presence and a true truck pod there, bringing in seating areas and a party vibe to supplement the street eats.
Though there’s still no official word on when that might happen, the vendors recently took another step forward.
This week, the growing fleet of trucks will roll into Tiri’s Garden from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Thursday, in addition to the regular Wednesday stop. And in October, the group will add Wednesday hours.
Not all vendors will park at the pod every day, but the carts and trucks making fairly regular stops will include the Steamin’ Demon, the Inventing Room, the Steuben’s Food Service Truck, the Cupcake Truck, the Paris on the Platte Truck, the Deluxe Truck, Pinche Tacos, El Caribe Arepera, Walt’s Mobile Bistro and the new Sully’s Slice Truck.
