Good because there’s plenty on this weekend’s Dance Card: There’s a label launch tonight at minibar for 5 and Dime, a brand-new deep/tech house label; the launch will have music from Bones, ben A, Louis Marr, Joseph Newman and Quinn. There will be free swag and drink specials; come down and support local music! (9 p.m., free, 21+) It’s all about the dubstep at Beta tonight; Tokyo’s Ajapai and AK1200 will headline the amazing sound system, supported by Fury and Dirty Monkey. (9 p.m.,18+, $10)
Pathways::Origins takes over the Walnut Room both Friday and Saturday; along with visual and performance art, you’ll hear Christine West, Doc Noe and Mike Robot tonight. (6 p.m., 21+, $10) Awesome Factory presents Classixx, Double//Shadow and Ginger Perry at the Larimer Lounge tonight, bringing their funky midtempo sound to the masses. (8 p.m., 21+, $15) Vinyl‘s Bass Resonance finals will feature DJ Scuba in the last slot, with AudioProphet, Bane & Incorporated, Dokta Dirty, KSmash, Sodium and Whitty. (9 p.m., 18+)
Pathways::Origins returns to the Walnut Room on Saturday; it’s bringing the dubstep this time around with Coult45, Citrus, Sequence, DMTree and more. (12 p.m.-8 p.m., 9 p.m.-2 a.m., 21+) Awesome Factory presents Dirty Fabric on Saturday at Beta, with Paul Anthony, Boyhollow, Southpaw and more in the Beatport Lounge; on the main floor, you’ll see DJ Jazzy Jeff (really!) with Es Chinorey and Tommy Michael. (9 p.m., 18+, $10)
And the underground lounge at Cebiche Authentic Peruvian Dining launches Fever Saturdays with Chris Rockwell. (9 p.m., 21+) The Funky Buddha brings another House Guest on Saturday with Giano of Italiano Recordings and Tequila Trax; he’ll be supported by Steve Synfull, Brandon Bass and Joey M. Celebrate two years of House Guets! (9 p.m., no cover) DJ T will make his first Denver appearance at 2200 on Saturday night with Jens Irish, P.U.N.C.H.I.S., Josh Manke and Just Us/Flatline. (9 p.m., 21+, $10 before 11 p.m., $10 all night for ladies)
