Adrian & The Sickness (playing the Rockaway Tavern tonight with No Good Reason) is much more than just the front for guitar great Adrian Connor’s original material. Connor — also known also as the “Angus Young” of the wildly successful AC/DC tribute, Hell’s Belles — has been writing and playing straightforward rock ‘n’ roll since she first picked up the guitar at fourteen.
In town tonight in support of The Sickness’ latest EP release, Criminal / Dog Days, the band will continue on a month-long tour before heading back to Austin to put the finishing touches on its next full-length, a collaborative effort with The Gog-Gos’ Kathy Valentine. This show is twenty-one and up.
