Leslie, aka Pussie S’More, refuses to divulge too much about the Funky Pink Snowflake Ball. “We don’t want to send out too much information, because we like to keep it somewhat underground,” the Pink Pussie wrote in a reply to a recent e-mail inquiring what FunkMasters, an inflatable pink cat and spelling pussy with “ie” is all about. We do know, however, that “the Perfectly Pink Pussie Palace originated…at the Regional Burn Apogaea to create and spread Pussie Love to all,” and that tonight, DJs will be mixing funky beats for people in their “grooviest threads” to dance to in the kitty-friendly confines of Orange Cat Studios, 2625 Larimer Street.
Doors to the 21+ party open at 9 p.m., with a suggested donation of $5 between 9 and 11 p.m., and $8 thereafter. Proceeds go toward funding a Pink Pussie Palace appearance at Apogaea 2007, an outdoor arts and music festival that’s been likened to Burning Man.
